An anthropological report was completed by the University of Florida. At that time, the report indicated that the remains are possibly of a white female. Her age was between 20-40-years-old.

Investigators believe her death was between one and five years prior to the discovery of the remains. The cause of death was not determined due to the decomposition of the body but the case was ruled a homicide.

Investigators received three forensic images of how the victim may have looked. The images were supplied by the F.B.I., Louisiana State University, and most recently from the University of South Florida. It was speculated that the victim had been involved in some type of auto accident before she died. A DNA profile was developed from the remains through the University of North Texas.

There were no missing persons' reports from the immediate area that matched the description of this victim.

Anyone with any information concerning the possible identity of this victim is asked to contact Detective Sean Tice at the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office at (904) 209-2192.
